Victory Crest is a 60-unit (all 1 BR/ 1 BA) affordable rental housing community located in the working class community of Chillum, Prince George’s County, Maryland.  Financed under the competitive HUD 202 Program and Home Funds from Prince George’s County, this building provides a home for the very poorest and most vulnerable of our seniors from the surrounding community.

A long curving tree lined drive through green fields, screened from a busy road by the existing senior building creates a pastoral setting which belies the frenetic world surrounding the site. Energy Star appliances and windows, deep roof overhangs, low flow plumbing fixtures and energy efficient lighting provide green building techniques that will reduce costs to the tenants and make the building energy efficient and remain affordable.  The building style celebrates the existing Arts + Crafts and Prairie heritage found in historic Chillum homes.
