Glencrest

Glencrest is a 186-unit, mixed-income housing community incorporating new urbanist, traditional neighborhood design.  Most units include front loaded or rear loaded garages, some with front porches, and are situated with large private backyards. 

The 17-acre site includes a 3-acre urban tree park, tot lots, sustainable landscaping, and 511 on-street and off-street parking spaces for 20 single-family homes, 125 town  homes, and two 4-unit grand homes.  This affordable and market-rate development includes 61 rental units and 125 for-sale units.

Funding:  HOPE VI, DC Housing Authority, District of Columbia, 4% low income housing tax credits, DC Housing Finance Agency bonds, sales proceeds, and  private construction financing.
