New FCC Building Opens!

An excerpt from a letter from Carol Eaton, the President of Frederick Community College:

     "Our new Classroom/Student Center Building couldn't have opened at a better time. Our enrollment has increased steadily over the past 10 years and dramatically in the last five - 31.7 percent since 2005 and 12 percent since 2008.  The additional space this building provides is much needed, much-appreciated and...beautiful?  Oh, yes!"

    "The building was designed with many "green" features to be as energy efficient as possible, and many locally-produced and recycled materials were used.  The color scheme and furnishings have a retro look, a very contemporary and fresh feel.  In other words, we love it!"
