She has extensive knowledge of civic building types, including expertise on acoustics, daylighting, lighting design, security systems, furnishings, interior design, glare-free environments, as well as energy-efficient and “green” buildings.
Melanie's award-winning designs have been recognized locally, regionally, and nationally by the AIA, NHBA, NSBA, CEFPI, librarians, educators, school boards, and facilities planners.
